Traction. Control. Fast-Rolling. Pick three. The Eliminator Grid Trail T7 is the rear tire for riders who want to climb fast and descend faster. GRIPTON T7 compound delivers low rolling resistance for speed on the flats, while the optimized tread pattern and stacked knob geometry keep you planted and confident when the trail points downhill. Lighter than the Grid Gravity version, it’s built for trail and enduro riders who prioritize speed without sacrificing the grip to back it up.

  • GRIPTON T7 Compound: Fast-rolling center compound for speed on descents and flats.
  • 60TPI Grid Trail Casing: Bead-to-bead protection, puncture resistant, trail-tuned compliance.
  • Alternating Tread Pattern: Smooth center-to-edge transitions predictable, progressive feel.
  • Stack-Lug Center Knobs: Stability under acceleration and braking, without the weight penalty.
  • Tubeless Ready: Lower pressures, better traction, fewer flats.
  • Rear-Specific Design: Optimized as a rear tire pairs with a grippier front like the Hillbilly.

Position: Rear tire only. Built for trail and enduro riders who want speed without compromise.

T7 Speed Without Sacrifice
GRIPTON T7 is the fast-rolling compound in the GRIPTON lineup designed for riders who want to maintain speed without the grip trade-offs. On descents, T7 rolls fast on the straights while the tread pattern maintains predictable traction through corners. Compared to the T9 compound used on the Grid Gravity version, T7 is lighter and faster rolling, at the cost of maximum grip in the hardest corners.

Grid Trail vs Grid Gravity
The Grid Trail casing uses a 60TPI single-ply construction with bead-to-bead protection lighter than the two-ply Grid Gravity (1240g+), making it better suited for trail and enduro where climbing efficiency matters. The Grid Gravity version’s two-ply construction is heavier but more resistant to punctures and impacts in extreme DH and enduro use.

Stack-Lug Stability
The stacked knob center geometry keeps the Eliminator planted under hard accelerations and aggressive braking. Combined with the alternating shoulder tread, the transition from center to edge is smooth and progressive so you can push harder knowing the rear tire will track predictably through the corner.
